Medical AssistantImmediate contract position available for our physician practice group in Howard Beach, NY. Experience with Family Medicine or Primary Care a plus!Pay Rate: $23.00/hr Work Schedule:10:00am - 6:00pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)4 days per weekResponsibilities:Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical recordMedical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy and preparation of exam roomsAssist with front desk responsibilities, if neededQualifications:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and at least 6 months MA experienceBLS CertificationBe able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentEPIC system experience a plus
