Senior Engineer

Job Title

We are looking for a candidate with a product and startup mindset, strong backend and full stack experience, data engineering skills, and expertise in AI, machine learning, and LLMs.

Product And Startup Mindset

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, build MVPs quickly, and have strong product intuition to turn data and ideas into customer-facing insights. Experience in early-stage startups ready for scale is a must. They should be pragmatic, fast, iterative, and relentlessly resourceful. Curiosity and the ability to learn on the job to use the right tool for the job are essential.

Backend / Full Stack

Deep experience building versatile backend systems and APIs is required. Very strong Python skills (primary language) are necessary. Experience with MVC frameworks and RESTful API design is also needed. Understanding distributed systems, event-driven workflows, caching, and logging is important.

Data Engineering

Strong SQL and Postgres expertise, schema design, and optimization are required. Experience building data pipelines and ingestion systems at scale is needed. Skilled at cleaning, normalizing, and transforming messy real-world data. Geospatial/location tracking data processing is a plus.

AI / Machine Learning / LLMs

Experience working with LLM-powered workflows (agents, tool use, structured outputs) is required. Familiarity with prompt engineering, JSON outputs, and guardrails is necessary. Exposure to ML systems in production (evaluation, monitoring) is important.
