Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Paralegal role based in Miami, FL. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case intake, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, drafting and formatting pleadings and motions, conducting legal and factual research, and reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, and relevance. The role involves maintaining case files, managing deadlines and court calendars, coordinating with internal teams and external parties, and assisting with hearing and trial logistics. The paralegal will also help prepare exhibits, summaries, and reports, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing complex litigation materials.

• Experience with document review and management, including identifying relevant information and maintaining organized case files.

• Proficiency in legal research using standard tools and databases, with the ability to synthesize findings for attorney review.

• Hands-on experience preparing pleadings and motions, with familiarity in court rules, filing procedures, and litigation timelines.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent relevant experience in a litigation-focused environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

• Proficiency with legal practice software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism.
