Hands-on Oracle Cloud LCM experience
They should have direct experience configuring and testing:
Landed cost charges
Charge components
Charge allocation methods
Trade operations
Routes / service providers, where applicable
Estimated versus actual landed cost
Landed cost adjustments
Charge references and matching logic2.
Understanding of inbound cost business processes
They need to understand real-world landed cost scenarios such as:
Freight Duty Customs Brokerage Insurance
Handling Third-party logistics charges
Import-related cost allocation
Charge allocation by quantity, amount, weight, volume, item, PO, receipt, or shipment3.
Integration with Procurement, Receiving, Inventory, AP, and GL
This is the key requirement. They need to know how LCM fits across: Purchase orders Receipts Inventory valuation Receipt Accounting Cost AccountingPayables invoices for freight/duty/brokerage
General Ledger accounting and reconciliation
They do not need to be the full SCM Costing lead, but they need to understand the accounting impact of landed cost.4. Costing and accounting awareness
They should be able to explain:
How landed cost affects inventory valuation
How estimated landed cost differs from actual landed cost
How variances and adjustments are handled
How landed cost flows into Cost Accounting and GL
How to reconcile landed cost charges, inventory value, AP, and GL5. Implementation lifecycle experience
Design workshops
Configuration workbooks
KDDs / design decisions
Process flowsTest scenarios

Receipt Accounting and Cost
Accounting experience
Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
Global import / multi-country landed cost experience
AP freight invoice and third-party charge processing experience
Experience with landed cost reporting and reconciliation
EBS-to-Fusion migration experience, but only if they also have Fusion Cloud experience
