Location: Tampa, FL (4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote – Weekend Shift)

Pay Range: $20/HR - $23/HR (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Role Overview:

Brilliant Financial Staffing is seeking Emergency Response Center Coordinators for our client in the emergency restoration and mitigation services industry. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for contract-to-hire based on performance and business needs. Due to continued growth, our client is expanding its U.S.-based Emergency Response Center and is looking to add motivated team members immediately.

In this role, you'll support customers experiencing water, fire, and other property damage emergencies by providing exceptional customer service and coordinating emergency response efforts. Candidates should be calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The schedule will be either 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (one consistent shift assigned). Employees are required to work either Saturday or Sunday as part of their regular 40-hour work week. This position follows a 4-day onsite / 1-day remote schedule, with the remote day being the assigned weekend shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound calls from customers requiring emergency water mitigation and restoration services
• Gather and document critical job and customer information accurately and efficiently
• Route service requests and dispatch information to the appropriate service teams
• Follow established scripts, workflows, and brand-specific procedures across multiple business lines
• Maintain accurate records within CRM and communication systems
• Coordinate communication between customers, technicians, and internal departments
• Monitor active jobs and provide updates as needed
• Escalate urgent or unresolved customer concerns appropriately
• Assist with order entry and coordination between multiple internal teams
• Support departmental goals related to response times, service quality, and customer satisfaction
• Perform administrative and operational tasks as assigned while maintaining professionalism during high-stress customer interactions

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of call center, customer service, dispatch, or coordination experience required
• Availability to work on Sunday every weekend is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergency or high-pressure situations
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Standard computer and data entry skills required
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus
