Now Hiring: Director of Engineering – Gas Power Solutions | Houston, TX

New Tech Global is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the technical and commercial strategy for a portfolio of mobile gas turbine power generation solutions. This leadership role will drive product performance, reliability, lifecycle management, fleet optimization, and market growth across temporary power, distributed energy, remote industrial operations, and grid support applications.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, or related field)

• 8+ years of experience in power generation, gas turbines, rotating equipment, or energy infrastructure

• 5+ years in engineering leadership, product management, or technical-commercial roles

• Strong knowledge of gas turbine systems, controls, balance-of-plant systems, and distributed/mobile power generation

• Experience supporting temporary power, rental power, industrial power, utility, oil & gas, data center, or infrastructure markets

• Strong business acumen with experience in pricing strategy, lifecycle cost analysis, and product profitability

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and support customer-facing technical solutions

Preferred:

• Master's degree and/or MBA

• Experience with mobile gas turbine packages, distributed energy systems, and emissions compliance

• Background managing OEM relationships, vendor negotiations, and strategic supplier partnerships
