Virginia State Police Dept is seeking a Business Analyst 4 to serve in their Richmond office. This position is fully onsite and Monday-Friday. Job responsibilities The incumbent will analyze complex Virginia State Police (VSP) and criminal justice policies, processes, and computer systems, using this information to evaluate automated and manual processes, staff workloads, skills, training needs, and other factors to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service. Responsibilities include: Researching state laws, policies, and processes in partnership with VSP legal staff, management, and staff to ensure accurate information dissemination. Leading the implementation of policies, processes, and computer systems. Applying organizational change management practices, emphasizing effective communication, stakeholder trust, and performance measurement to enhance operational performance and customer service. Planning, coordinating, and conducting communications with customers and stakeholders to improve services and roll out new VSP offerings. Coordinating the creation of public websites and media with VSP public relations staff to inform the public about VSP services. Performing other duties as assigned.
