Associate Attorney

The Associate Attorney position involves working closely with a senior partner on complex litigation cases that often involve catastrophic injuries or wrongful death. Case types often include motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and medical malpractice. Duties/Responsibilities Assist the senior partner in managing a docket of complex litigation cases. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. Engage in discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions. Participate in strategy development, case analysis, and preparation for trial. Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to advance case progress. Attend mediations, hearings, and trials as required. Ensure timely and thorough file updates in the case management system. Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Active and in good standing with the Georgia or Alabama bar association (depending on which location candidate is applying for). 4-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with exposure to complex cases preferred. Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
