Production Scheduler

Production Scheduler $60k-$65k/annually DOE! Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Production Scheduler for our manufacturing client to start immediately. Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire. Responsibilities Provide support for shop floor production operations. Collect and analyze system data to develop production schedules aligned with material requirements. Evaluate and adjust system minimum levels to ensure appropriate inventory is maintained. Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, records, and reports. Conduct daily cycle counts and investigate and resolve work order discrepancies. Review the Sales Order Ship Report and collaborate with Customer Service to establish work order priorities and build the production schedule, ensuring optimal resource utilization, minimal waste, and on-time delivery performance of 98% or higher. Manage firm planned and planned orders, as well as customer forecasts when available, to proactively balance workloads across work centers. Release production orders based on material availability; coordinate with Purchasing to expedite materials or tooling when required. Partner with Customer Service and Operations to respond promptly to customer requests, including drop-ins and pull-ins. Work with Operations to identify capacity limitations and recommend potential solutions. Schedule production orders involving similar materials or processes to improve efficiency whenever possible; collaborate with production leadership and staff to develop effective scheduling strategies. Ensure work orders are accurately closed, variances are resolved, and identified issues are properly tracked. Perform inventory audits and cycle counts as needed. Location Grand Rapids, MI Overtime as needed Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Experience using ERP systems for production planning, work order management, and inventory control. Knowledge of production scheduling practices. Experience in automotive manufacturing preferred. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
