Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, factoring in the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that respect their unique goals and preferences while addressing their mental health needs.
\n
• Implement and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring the best possible care outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor clients' progression, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their ongoing needs and response to therapies.

• Facilitate collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to client care.

• Stay informed about recent advancements in mental health therapies related to mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client care, assessments, and treatment activities in alignment with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, meetings, and professional development activities to refine clinical skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients’ needs and the de-stigmatization of mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Gotham Enterprises, you will primarily work with adults experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and related conditions. Your interactions will be with clients from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges to their mental health journey. Your role will be pivotal in providing compassionate support and actionable treatment plans that align with their individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Extensive knowledge and expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong familiarity with psychopharmacology to effectively partner with psychiatrists and other providers.
\n
• A proven record of facilitating successful outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with a capacity for building rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly with a focus on mood disorders, is preferred, although exceptional candidates with less experience but with relevant training may be considered.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
