Immediate opening for a  Billing Associate in  Perris, CA who possesses:

• Billing experience, including end-of-month billing and reconciliation
• OHC billing and medical billing experience
• Experience generating invoices
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas

 

FULL DESCRIPTION:   We are seeking a Billing Associate to support billing, invoicing, reconciliation, reporting, and administrative functions in a fast-paced office environment. This role is responsible for data entry, processing reports for discrepancies, assisting with end-of-month billing, generating invoices, maintaining medical documentation, and supporting front office needs as assigned. The ideal candidate will have billing experience, OHC billing and medical billing experience, strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately with reports, invoices, and reconciliation tasks.

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing accurate data entry related to billing, invoices, reports, and administrative records
• Processing reports and identifying discrepancies
• Assisting with billing reconciliation
• Supporting end-of-month billing processes
• Generating invoices accurately and timely
• Assisting with OHC billing and medical billing functions
• Maintaining filing systems and medical documents
• Copying, faxing, scanning, and organizing billing and administrative documents
• Entering invoice-related information into appropriate systems
• Reviewing billing documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Using Excel to support billing, reconciliation, reporting, formulas, and pivot table needs
• Assisting with receptionist duties as needed
• Answering phones and providing professional front office support as assigned
• Communicating professionally with internal staff, clients, and vendors as needed
• Maintaining organized records and supporting daily office workflow
• Performing other duties as assigned

 

The selected candidate will also possess:

• Billing experience required
• End-of-month billing experience preferred
• Reconciliation experience required
• OHC billing experience required
• Medical billing experience required
• Experience generating invoices required
• Medical billing software experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills required
• Experience with Excel formulas required
• Experience with Excel pivot tables required
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
• Great data entry skills required
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized work habits
• Strong accuracy with reports, invoices, and billing documentation
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Ability to support filing, copying, faxing, and administrative document handling
• Ability to assist with receptionist duties as needed
• Valid California driver's license required
• Ability to work onsite in Perris, CA

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while completing data entry, reviewing invoices, processing reports, updating records, and working in Excel
• Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
• Ability to review billing documents, medical documents, invoices, reports, spreadsheets, emails, and computer screens for extended periods
• Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, filing, scanning, copying, faxing, documentation, and standard office tasks
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the office as needed
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office files, documents, supplies, or small office materials

 

Salary Range: $20/hour
