Vice President - Audience Development & Growth

Kforce's client in NYC is seeking an experienced Audience Development Executive to build and lead a new audience development function focused on increasing viewership, growing fan engagement, and expanding audience reach across a portfolio of television properties. This leader will develop and execute audience growth strategies that transform linear viewership into sustained, multiplatform fandom across broadcast, cable, streaming, digital channels. This position is onsite 4 days per week, 7.5 hours per day. Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead audience development strategies that drive viewership, engagement, retention, and fandom
• Create title-specific growth plans across linear, streaming, social, digital, FAST, and emerging discovery platforms
• Leverage audience insights, media analytics, and performance data to optimize audience acquisition and retention
• Build and manage relationships with agency partners, CRM/lifecycle marketing platforms, and internal stakeholders
• Establish measurement frameworks, executive reporting, and KPI dashboards to track audience growth and engagement
• Drive discoverability through content metadata optimization, platform placement strategies, search visibility, and recommendation systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align audience growth initiatives with business objectives
• Lead strategic initiatives focused on audience conversion, fan community development, and long-term franchise growth
• Document processes, standards, and playbooks to create a scalable and repeatable audience development model
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in Audience Development, Entertainment Marketing, Programming Strategy, Content Strategy, Television, Streaming, Digital Media, or Consumer Growth
• Demonstrated success increasing both viewership and fandom for television series, entertainment brands, franchises, tentpole events, or media properties
• Deep understanding of linear television programming, audience flow, scheduling strategy, on-air promotion, and viewer acquisition
• Proven ability to develop audience growth strategies across linear, streaming, FAST, social, digital, owned, and partner platforms
• Expertise in fandom development, community building, audience engagement, social conversation, creator/cast amplification, and lifecycle marketing
• Experience partnering with CRM and audience engagement platforms to support personalized audience activation strategies
• Knowledge of content metadata, EPG/scheduling feeds, content identifiers, search optimization, recommendation systems, and content discoverability
• Strong background in audience analytics and performance measurement, including ratings, reach, engagement, retention, attribution, sentiment, cohort analysis, and audience health metrics
• Experience managing cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Programming, Research, Product, Distribution, Platform, Social, Media, and Ad Sales teams
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders
• Experience leading agencies, vendors, or external partners while maintaining accountability for outcomes
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills
• Experience in entertainment, media, streaming, or television environments
• Familiarity with lifecycle marketing platforms (e.g., Iterable) and audience activation programs
• Experience building audience development or fandom-focused functions from the ground up
