We foster a culture that values teamwork, accountability, continuous learning, and exceptional client service.We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Billing Accountant to support the financial management and successful delivery of projects across multiple disciplines. This role partners closely with project managers, technical staff, and leadership to oversee project financial performance, maintain accurate project accounting records, and provide meaningful financial insights that support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, professional environment.Under minimal supervision, the selected individual will perform a variety of project accounting and financial administration functions, helping ensure projects are set up, monitored, and closed out efficiently while supporting the overall financial health of the office.Individuals in this role will be expected to confidently perform tasks similar in nature to the following:Process and track client billing invoices in an accurate and timely mannerRead contracts and interpret billing requirementsProject setup, including bill structure, rate and classification informationPayables entry of sub-consultant invoicesCreate cost reports in BST 10 Global accounting softwareProject cost reporting for clients with special requirementsManage accounts receivables on projectsWork closely with Project Coordinators and Project Managers for reporting and invoice approvalsMinimum Qualifications:AA degree with accounting/finance emphasisMinimum 2 years related billing experienceSolid understanding of basic accounting processProficient in MS Excel and Office SuiteStrong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently or in a team and take initiativeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications:Experience with BST 10 Global accounting systemExperience in an Engineering firm (or other Professional Services firms)Experience in billing with Public Works Agencies such as WSDOT, King County, Sound Transit and SDOTPhysical Demands:Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.Occasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.Traveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying.Compensation:The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate is $35.00 to $39.00 hourly.Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center.
