Salary: $48,000 per year

Position: Assistant Supervisor

As an assistant Supervisor, you will be a key team member responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of multiple locations. Your role will involve working across different sites, including both day and night shifts, and stepping in to fill in when needed. You will support the team by performing various cleaning tasks, from general maintenance to specialized tasks like carpet and tile cleaning. Your flexibility, reliability, and commitment to quality will be essential in keeping our facilities pristine and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Across Locations: Travel to various sites during your shift, providing cleaning support where needed. You will step in to help with call-offs or fill in for employees who are unavailable, ensuring that each location receives the care and attention it requires.
• Shift Flexibility: Your hours will vary depending on the coverage needed, with shifts that can range from early mornings to late evenings. This requires flexibility and responsiveness to the changing needs of the team.
• Centralized Location Needed: Given the wide coverage from Boca Raton to Miami, it’s important for candidates to reside in a central area, ideally between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, for efficient and timely travel to all work sites.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team, assisting with general cleaning tasks and helping with more specific projects like carpet or tile cleaning when necessary.
• Professional Development: You will have the opportunity to learn TamCare’s industry-leading cleaning practices, using green-sealed certified supplies and equipment to ensure safe and effective cleaning.
• Customer Satisfaction: Play an integral role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and delivering exceptional customer service. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the reputation of TamCare as a trusted service provider.

Core Cleaning Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and emptying trash bins.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms by restocking supplies, cleaning fixtures, and ensuring overall tidiness.
• Clean carpets, tile, and other types of flooring, ensuring that they are properly maintained and sanitized.
• Respond to incidental spills or urgent cleaning needs promptly.
• Clean common areas, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairwells, and other designated areas.
• Assist with the restocking of cleaning carts and closets at the end of each shift.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in janitorial work with references.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to provide building inspection reports and maintain team communication.
• Experience cleaning restrooms, carpets, tile, and hard surface flooring (tile, LVT, marble).
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between multiple sites during your shifts.
• Must pass a background check.
• Positive attitude, a strong team spirit, and a willingness to learn new tasks and processes.
• Ability to work independently while following supervisor direction.

SCHEDULE:

• Mondays thru Fridays 3pm to 12 am.
• May be required to work day shifts if needed.
• Some Saturdays are required for special projects.

EXPERIENCE:

• Three (3) years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry.
• Carpet and floor care experience.
• Experience supervising teams of 10 or more.
