We're looking for someone with the drive to learn, the discipline to stay organized, and the confidence to initiate conversations with new prospects every day. position overview The Manager, Membership Growth plays a critical role in expanding the 4As community by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective member agencies. Working closely with the VP of Membership Growth, you'll help build a healthy pipeline of agency prospects through research, outbound outreach, lead qualification, CRM management, and ongoing prospect engagement. You'll be the engine behind our new business development efforts-ensuring every opportunity is researched, organized, and ready to move through the sales process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives on organization, loves uncovering opportunities, and wants to build a long-term career in business development and sales. position responsibilities Prospect Research & Lead Generation:
- Research prospective agencies using LinkedIn, industry publications, databases, and referrals.
- Build targeted prospect lists.
- Identify key decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate prospect profiles.
- Conduct email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads.
- Schedule meetings for the Director.
- Nurture prospects not yet ready to join.
- Own CRM data quality.
- Ensure accurate pipeline stages.
- Monitor prospect activity.
- Create dashboards and reports.
- Identify pipeline bottlenecks.
- Recommend improvements to sales processes.
- Prepare prospect briefs.
- Coordinate follow-up activities.
- Assist with proposals.
- Support conference lead capture.
- Track campaign performance.
- 2-5 years in business development, lead generation, recruiting, customer success, sales development, membership, media, or marketing.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional organization.
- Comfortable initiating conversations.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM.
- Curiosity about advertising and marketing.
- Self-starter.
