Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We need hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability.
• We require strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, specifically Java or Python.
• We need practical experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• We require experience designing, building, and deploying scalable applications in cloud environments.
• We need familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• We require experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• We need experience with modern monitoring and logging platforms such as DataDog, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
• We require experience leading multi-team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools, including governance, validation, quality controls, outcome measurement, and secure handling of sensitive inputs and outputs.
• We require a strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, resiliency, security, and control considerations, plus the ability to coach managers and influence leaders on safe scaling practices.
• Preferred: prior experience supporting trade execution platforms and knowledge of investment banking products, including fixed income and derivatives.

• We guide our immediate team of software engineers through daily tasks and activities to deliver creative software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and set the direction and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
• We identify opportunities to remove or automate recurring remediation work to improve the stability of our software applications and systems.
• We anticipate dependencies with other teams and lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal partners to create outcome-driven designs that fit our existing systems and information architecture.
• We manage stakeholder relationships and ensure our teams work aligns with compliance standards, service-level agreements, and business requirements.
• We foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect within our team.
• We establish and scale operating practices for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering and SDLC/TLM automation across multiple teams to improve speed, quality, and operational results.
• We define measurable expectations such as throughput, defect reduction, and reliability, while ensuring consistent validation, security, resiliency, and reuse of proven patterns.
• We apply knowledge of SDLC toolchain capabilities, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation, to improve efficiency and support capacity expansion across teams while prioritizing reuse of existing firm technology assets.
