Senior Lead Software Engineer - Java, Trading

Salary: $171,000 - 260,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 5+ years of applied experience.

• We write secure, high-quality production code in Java and review and debug code from others to uphold best practices and performance expectations.
• We design and build algorithmic trading strategies, with a focus on execution efficiency and performance in a low-touch trading environment.
• We work closely with the product team to turn trading strategies into scalable and efficient algorithms.
• We continually improve and refactor existing codebases to boost performance, expand testing, and strengthen system reliability.
• We act as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
• We contribute to the engineering community by promoting firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle practices.
• We influence peers and decision-makers to adopt leading-edge technologies where appropriate.
