Senior Buyer – E‑motor Segment Location: Wooster, OH, US, 44691 Troy, MI, US, 48083 Auburn Hills, MI, US, 48326 Key Responsibilities Single point of contact for relationship management / dispute resolution between supplier and plant. Lead the assigned commodity and support purchasing manager / director in strategic planning processes and project management. Monitor costs and status of negotiations, contract status, and percentage of spend under contract, while maintaining and ensuring agreements remain active and in place. Develop and drive price reductions within the commodity. Negotiate with supplier to acceptable pricing levels and onboarding. Secure required approvals for awards and issue purchase orders to the supply base. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Minimum 5 years of related purchasing experience. Strong blueprint comprehension. Basic mechanical and technical comprehension. Experience working with cross‑functional teams. Strong negotiation, project management, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Excellent personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Power BI.
