Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through detailed interpretations of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in partnership with surgeons to create and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and assisting with the surgical instruments during the procedures
• Offer exceptional care in pre- and post-operative stages, including managing medications, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
