Minuteman Press, the world’s largest and top-rated digital print, marketing, and design franchise, is seeking a Graphic Designer / Customer Service Representative for our Annapolis location. This full-time role (9am-5pm Monday–Friday) combines graphic design, customer service, and basic print production support. While you will receive comprehensive training on all aspects of the shop, your primary focus during the training period will be on quote follow-up, handling customer walk-ins, and making sales calls. We are looking for someone proficient in the Adobe Suite who delivers excellent customer service and works well both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities

• Design and layout projects using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop based on customer needs
• Review job specifications from work orders and ensure client files are production-ready
• Prepare and work with PDF files
• Assist and consult with clients in person, by phone, and via email, including handling walk-in requests
• Organize and control email flow to ensure timely responses and clear communication
• Process cash and credit card transactions
• Create quotes in pricing software and follow up on proofs
• Make outbound sales calls to generate new business and follow up on opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, including real-world print design projects
• Understanding of basic print terminology (e.g., bleed, crop marks)
• Excellent communication and people skills — positive, friendly, and professional in person, by phone, and over email
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage multiple client jobs simultaneously
• Prior experience in a print or copy shop preferred but not required
