Family Law Attorney - 3+ Years ExperienceLocation: Little Falls, New Jersey Schedule: Full-Time | 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Work Arrangement: Primarily In-Office with Flexibility for Remote Work Position Overview A well-established boutique family law practice in Little Falls, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its collaborative and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing cases independently, wants meaningful courtroom experience, and values a professional environment that supports both career growth and work-life balance. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload of New Jersey family law matters from initial consultation through resolution, while working closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Responsibilities Manage family law matters from inception through resolution Represent clients at hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, briefs, discovery, and settlement agreements Conduct legal research and develop case and litigation strategies Negotiate settlements and prepare matters for litigation when necessary Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout their cases Collaborate with attorneys and support staff Maintain accurate billing and time records Meet established annual billable-hour expectations Qualifications Active license to practice law in New Jersey Minimum 3 years of New Jersey family law experience, including private practice, judicial clerkship, or another family-law-focused legal setting Experience independently managing family law matters Courtroom experience, including hearings, motions, conferences, and client advocacy Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills Excellent organization, case management, and deadline management skills Strong commitment to client service Compensation & Incentives The firm offers competitive base compensation plus substantial additional earning potential through a transparent productivity incentive program.
