Job Description
The Stand Up Forklift Driver is responsible for efficiently and safely operating a forklift to handle a variety of mixed materials within the warehouse environment. This role involves careful loading, unloading, and transport of inventory while adhering to safety protocols and working under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand up forklift to move mixed items within the warehouse
- Handle materials by loading and unloading shipments safely
- Transport inventory to designated locations accurately
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and operating procedures
- Secure loads appropriately to prevent damage during transport
- Report to Warehouse Supervisor and collaborate with warehouse staff
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in forklift operation
- Forklift operator certification
- Strong knowledge of forklift operation and load securing techniques
- Effective communication skills
- High attention to detail
