Imaging Scheduler (Radiology Scheduler) Full Time | Beverly Hills, CA, US | Salary Range: $23.00 – $30.00 annually Job Description The Imaging Scheduler (Radiology Scheduler) at Beverly Hills Cancer Center is responsible for organizing, directing, and scheduling patient appointments for various imaging and radiology modalities. The role includes verification of insurance, authorization requests, managing referrals, and maintaining daily clinic schedules while providing excellent customer service and acting as a liaison between medical staff and ancillary departments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Plan, organize, direct and schedule patient internal appointments based upon orders for different imaging/radiology modalities. Coordinate and track external referrals. Verify insurance and enter information into EMR. Request authorizations. Coordinate obtaining and sending requested medical records. Monitor daily clinic schedules in accordance with scheduling protocols. Act as a liaison with all medical staff (including physicians) and all ancillary departments of BHCC. Provide strong customer service and communication skills. Other patient coordinator duties including patient check‑in. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of two years of patient scheduling experience and knowledge of insurance verification/authorization process required. Imaging/radiology experience required. Excellent computer skills and EMR knowledge. Medical records experience helpful.
