The HHA Home Health Aide/Direct Care Assistant provides essential support and care for children at the center, ensuring their personal comfort, safety, and emotional wellbeing at the center . This role involves assisting with daily activities, maintaining clear communication with patients and other staff, and adhering to safety and documentation protocols within a supervised care environment.

The position is full time with a rotating schedule. Flexibility is needed and some weekends may be required. schedule depends on the needs of the center.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily needs
• Maintain effective communication with patients and care team members
• Document patient care activities and observations accurately
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
• Perform cleaning and household tasks to maintain a safe environment
• Assist with patient transport as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.

• 1+ years of experience in home health care
• Experience with small children
• Basic patient care knowledge
