Job Title: Practice Supervisor

Schedule: (M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm)

Location: In office, Carmel Valley

Salary Range: $70,304 - $80,000 (Based on experience)

Position Purpose & Focus

The Practice Supervisor’s role supports our business by effectively working with the Practice Manager to perform many leadership, organization and decision-making tasks to maintain and grow the medical practice they are assigned. The primary focus is sustaining a productive, cordial, and professional environment within our healthcare setting, and always protect patient and employee confidentiality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce effective workplace procedures to support efficient clinic operations.
• Conduct comprehensive practice assessments to optimize operations, ensure compliance, and implement growth strategies, including marketing and reputation management.
• Oversee daily operations, manage medication and equipment inventory, and ensure timely resupply.
• Manage patient interactions, address concerns and complaints, and conduct staff performance reviews.
• Collaborate with physicians and leadership to develop business strategies and enhance patient services.
• Review and approve timecards, develop performance and grievance policies, and provide coaching and counseling to support employee development.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service across all team members.
• Provide hands-on support for medical billing operations, including claims submission, payment posting, denial management, insurance verification, and resolution of billing discrepancies to optimize revenue cycle performance.
• Monitor billing workflows and identify opportunities to improve reimbursement accuracy, reduce claim denials, and support timely collections.
• Perform various clerical and administrative duties and adapt to support team needs and operational gaps as required.

Qualifications | Competencies & Success Factors

• High School diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.
• 1+ years of medical office management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic practice management (EPM) electronic medical records(EMR) required.
