Sputtering Assembler

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00/hour (Based on Experience)

In this position, you'll work in a clean, controlled manufacturing environment, assembling precision components, conducting inspections, and supporting the production process from raw materials through finished goods. • Assemble thin-film getter products according to specifications, drawings, and manufacturing procedures
• Operate under microscopes and use precision tools to perform detailed assembly work
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete production travelers, logs, and quality documentation accurately
• Track raw material usage and production scrap
• Perform measurements and quality checks using specialized equipment
• Assemble production pallets and sputtering components utilizing customer-supplied parts
• Package finished products using vacuum-sealing equipment
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces, equipment, and production areas
• Identify and communicate quality, product, or process concerns to supervisors and team members
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and efficiency
• Assist teammates and other assemblers as needed to meet production goals

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and technical documentation
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment

• Semiconductor, electronics, medical device, or precision manufacturing experience
• Experience working with microscopes and detailed inspection processes
• Familiarity with profilometers, manual tweezers, vacuum tweezers, or similar precision tools
• Knowledge of vacuum technology or sputtering processes
• Experience with documentation, quality systems, and process improvement initiatives

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to sit, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift
• Capable of working under a microscope for extended periods
• Able to wear required PPE, including latex or nitrile gloves
• Comfortable working in cleanrooms, fume hoods, and flow bench environments

This position is performed in a controlled production environment that may include cleanrooms, flow benches, and fume hoods. Employees are expected to follow strict cleanliness, safety, and quality standards while working with precision equipment and components.

This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
