Are you a hands-on restaurant leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves? We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead high-volume restaurant operations in the New Bern, NC market.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk management role. Successful candidates must be willing to lead from the front, spend significant time in the kitchen, coach teams on the floor, and work alongside employees to ensure exceptional food quality, cleanliness, and guest service.

What You'll Do

• Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop management and hourly teams.
• Drive sales growth and operational excellence.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and operational standards are consistently met.
• Build a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
• Coach and develop future leaders within the organization.
• Create action plans to improve restaurant performance and guest experience.
• Provide leadership for one or multiple restaurant locations depending on experience.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Proven ability to develop and retain restaurant managers.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and restaurant operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A servant-leader mentality with a strong work ethic.
• A willingness to lead by example and work alongside the team.

Physical & Schedule Requirements

This position requires a significant physical presence in the restaurant.

• Expect to work 12-13 hour shifts on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable performing hands-on kitchen work daily.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Must be willing to jump into any position, including prep, cooking, line production, dishwashing, and cleaning, to support the team.
