Active New York State PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required from AHA or ARC. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Experience treating people with disabilities and focusing on maintaining current function preferred. Experience managing caseloads of approximately 910 patients per day preferred. Travel and license reimbursement. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift: Days. Shift days: Monday through Friday. Caseload: Approximately 910 patients per day. Population: People with disabilities; primary goal is maintaining current function. EMR: E Clinical Works. Travel pattern: Clinician will typically work at one facility per day, with scheduled coverage across multiple sites in the region. Regional schedule sample: One day per week in Marcy, Utica, Turin, and Rome; one to two days per week in Herkimer across nearby locations (drive time required between Herkimer sites). Location Highlights Marcy, NY sits within commuting distance of Utica and the Adirondack Park, offering a mix of suburban and outdoor lifestyle options. The area is about a 1520 minute drive to downtown Utica and roughly 45 minutes to the southern edge of Adirondack Park, providing access to parks like Minna Anthony Common Nature Center and proximity to the Erie Canal corridor. The region supports a suburban lifestyle with nearby cultural attractions such as the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute in Utica and historic sites in Rome, while outdoor recreation options include hiking and boating within an hour's drive. Transit connections include regional highways (I-90 and NY-12) for commuting to neighboring towns and local services in Utica for dining and entertainment.
