Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit. The role involves providing excellent patient care, particularly post-surgical cases, including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity. Strong experience in managing IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including post-surgical recovery.
• Manage and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in New York with all active RN licenses verified through NURSYS.
• Up-to-date resume demonstrating 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Documentation of travel nursing experience is required.
• Drivers license with an address matching demographics is necessary.
