Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Job Overview Electrical & Instrumentation Technician – Ranson Factory Work Days: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm Pay Rate: $40/hour Responsibilities Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and troubleshoot with communication software. Perform maintenance and electrical tasks, including calibrating, monitoring, repairing and maintaining transmitters, controllers, plant safety systems, power systems and sensors. Maintain equipment through planned preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records per company policies, including advanced troubleshooting of electrical/electronic equipment during shift. Provide electrical and instrumentation support to ensure safe and effective production continuity. Install, calibrate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical instrumentation, equipment, and associated electrical/electronic controls and related devices for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. Install and inspect electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, transformers, conduits, feeders, fiber‑optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components. Qualifications 2‑year degree or equivalent certification or work experience. 2–3 years of practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with automated equipment. Proficient knowledge of PLC/Automation; Siemens knowledge preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop and share knowledge/experience with the team.
