Associate or Special Counsel – Antitrust Farella Braun + Martel LLP, is a leading Northern California law firm deeply rooted in San Francisco, seeks a skilled and highly qualified antitrust litigation associate or special counsel with at least two years of litigation experience to join our nationally recognized antitrust litigation practice. The candidate should have a strong academic record from a highly ranked law school and previous experience as a federal judicial clerk or experience with a government enforcer. Our antitrust practice is unique. We represent both plaintiffs and defendants in high‑profile conduct cases across a variety of industries in courts across the nation. We also represent state attorneys general nationwide in both merger and conduct matters, and we handle both civil and criminal matters. Senior Associate – Employment (Employment Law) Farella Braun + Martel’s rapidly growing employment practice seeks a skilled mid‑senior associate with 4‑7 years of California employment law experience. The ideal candidate will have: Hands‑on experience across the full spectrum of employment litigation, including disability accommodation, discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wage and hour class actions, and non‑compete and non‑solicitation agreements A proven track record of supervising and mentoring junior associates, managing complex matters with limited oversight, and taking ownership of client relationships Experience representing employers before federal and state courts, arbitrators, administrative agencies, and appellate courts throughout California Entrepreneurial spirit, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the firm Although this is a litigation‑specific role, familiarity with pre‑emptive counseling—helping clients assess employment law risks before they rise to the level of litigation—is a significant plus.
