General Production Worker

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality and packaging. You will work collaboratively with a team to complete tasks and maintain production standards. Additionally, you may be involved in training new employees, working with operators, cleaning equipment, and performing various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Check products for quality assurance and package them accordingly.
Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks.
Assist in training new employees.
Work alongside operators to maintain production efficiency.
Clean and maintain equipment.
Perform additional tasks as required.

Essential Skills

Experience in inspection, material handling, packaging, and assembly.
Proficiency in visual inspection and quality control.
Ability to use a tape measure effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable performing repetitive motions and standing for extended periods.
Capability to bend, twist, squat, and reach as needed.
Comfortable working in noisy environments and potential exposure to extreme temperatures.

Work Environment

The position is based in a factory setting, requiring long periods of standing and occasional walking on the plant floor within a non-climate-controlled environment. Shifts are structured as follows: A and C Shift from 6:30 AM to 7 PM, B and D Shift from 6:30 PM to 7 AM. The schedule operates on a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off basis, providing every other weekend off (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, DE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
