Our client, an industry leader driving manufacturing innovation in Newton, NC, is seeking a Mechanical Technician. This dynamic role requires an Associate degree and 3+ years of equipment installation experience to help shape and optimize cutting-edge production lines.

salary: $22.86 - 32.00 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

Manage the installation, alignment, and debugging of mechanical systems to ensure successful manufacturing capacity additions.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to rapidly diagnose and resolve complex mechanical failures.
Design and implement industrialized mechanical solutions to continuously improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
Collaborate daily with vendors, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to keep projects within scope, time, and budget.
Maintain critical engineering documentation, manage spare parts inventory, and support the training of operations staff on new equipment.
