Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Richmond, VA Employer: AAS Locum Tenens Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locums Non-Invasive Cardiologist Physician We are seeking a Locums Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in Richmond, VA. This role includes a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and call coverage, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations in a collaborative, team-based environment. Schedule Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts Call: Rotating night and weekend call Call Ratio: 1:6 Practice Setting Mix of inpatient, outpatient clinic, and call coverage Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric EMR: Epic Patient Volume Clinic: ~10 patients per day Inpatient Admissions: 12–15 per physician per day Clinical Responsibilities Provide non-invasive cardiology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings Perform and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) Manage complex cardiac patients, including those with advanced heart failure Participate in rounding, consults, and admissions Provide call coverage for nights and weekends on a rotating basis Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation in Epic Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology Active Virginia medical license (or ability to obtain) ACLS certification DEA license Advanced Heart Failure (AHF) Fellowship preferred LVAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience required/certified
