Part Time Physician Assistant

1–2 Days Per Week | Specialty Training Provided Levine Hearing is looking for a Physician Assistant with an interest in ENT and ear-related care to join our growing practice in Charlotte. For the past 11 years, Levine Hearing has been an independent practice focused on helping adults hear better and stay connected to the people and lives they love. Over time, our patients have increasingly turned to us not only for hearing care, but for help with everyday ear-related concerns as well. That demand has grown to the point that we are ready to expand the medical care available within our practice and become a more complete resource for the routine ear issues our patients already bring to us. This position will begin 1–2 weekdays per week , with the opportunity to expand as patient volume grows. What You’ll Do The PA will focus primarily on ENT and otologic care while working closely with our audiology and hearing-care team. Responsibilities may include: Evaluation and treatment of common ear complaints, infections, pain, pressure and fullness Cerumen removal and ear examinations Medical evaluation of hearing-related concerns Evaluation and workup of asymmetric hearing loss Ordering appropriate diagnostic testing and imaging, including MRI when clinically indicated Ordering laboratory studies and specialist referrals when appropriate Reviewing audiologic and vestibular testing and coordinating next steps in care Evaluation of dizziness and vertigo when medically appropriateManagement of appropriate routine ENT conditions Patient education and follow-up care Collaboration with audiologists, physicians and outside specialists Helping develop clinical workflows and protocols as our medical services grow As part of future program development, the PA may also participate in adult allergy evaluation and treatment , with appropriate onboarding and specialty-specific training provided. Specialty Training & Onboarding Previous ENT experience is helpful, but not required. We are open to an experienced PA from primary care, urgent care, internal medicine or another clinical setting who is interested in transitioning into ENT. The successful candidate will receive structured onboarding and specialty-specific training in areas such as: Common ENT diagnoses and treatment Otologic examination and procedures Hearing-loss workups Imaging and referral criteria Dizziness and vestibular conditions ENT-specific medications and treatment protocols Adult allergy evaluation and treatment as that program develops We are looking for someone who wants to become genuinely knowledgeable in this area—not simply cover a clinic a few days each month. Appropriate physician supervision is already arranged for this position. The PA will not be responsible for locating their own supervising physician. We have the structure in place to support the appropriate onboarding, supervision and clinical collaboration required for PA practice in North Carolina. Who We’re Looking For We think this position would be a great fit for a PA who: Is licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina Enjoys caring for an adult patient population Is interested in ENT, otology, hearing and balance Is comfortable evaluating patients and developing thoughtful diagnostic plans Is comfortable ordering imaging, laboratory studies and referrals when clinically indicated Wants the opportunity to learn a specialty Is warm, confident and excellent with patients Enjoys collaborating with other clinicians Likes the idea of helping shape and build a growing clinical program ENT experience is a plus, but a strong clinical background, good judgment and genuine interest in the specialty are more important. About Levine Hearing Levine Hearing was founded by Madison Levine 11 years ago with a simple goal: to provide the kind of hearing care she would want for her own family. Today, we are a nine-person independent practice serving primarily adults throughout the Charlotte area. We have grown, but we have intentionally remained independent because we believe healthcare is better when clinicians have the freedom to take their time, listen carefully and do what is right for the patient. Our patients come to us for hearing care, tinnitus, dizziness and vestibular testing, ear cleaning and increasingly for questions and concerns that fall somewhere between traditional audiology and ENT. Rather than continually sending patients somewhere else for routine ear-related issues, we want to build a more complete resource around the people we already care for. We are a small, close-knit team, and this is not a high-volume corporate medical environment. Our mission is to provide thoughtful care that takes time —and we are looking for a PA who values that approach too. Schedule Part-time Initially 1–2 weekdays per week Potential for additional days as patient demand grows Compensation $55–$72 per hour, depending on experience.
