Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-16:30 Hours per Shift: 9.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have: Candidates must have 1 or more years of experience in surgery, including the specified case mix. Description: This facility is an 815-bed acute care facility. It is known as a regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care. It provides the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital in the region. A variety of specialties are offered, including cardiovascular, orthopedics, neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics, women's services, and behavioral health. The cardiovascular services include open heart and interventional cardiology. This is the second busiest surgical hospital in the area. The quality of services has earned several recognitions. Awards include being named among the nation’s best hospitals. The onsite children's hospital features 96 beds dedicated to infants and children. It includes a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU. The facility offers numerous pediatric subspecialties with 30 specialists. Recent expansions include a state-of-the-art patient tower. This new building has over 630,000 square feet. It includes a new Emergency Department, interventional procedural rooms, operating rooms, and 220 private patient rooms. Staff members appreciate the friendly atmosphere and supportive management.
