Overview:

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Nursing Resource Pool is hiring a Flexi, Night Shift, Safety Partner.

Hours/Shift:

Flexi-Time

• As a Safety Partner with Sentara, you will assist with keeping patients and the hospital a safe environment. The primary duties of this position include sitting with patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, self-harm, or other risk behaviors enabling patients to maintain function during their hospital stay. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to provide the best care for our patients.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Prior Healthcare Experience or Enrollment in a Health Sciences Program is Strongly Preferred,

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.

In addition to the high-quality heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital, our facility is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several other dedicated facilities and specialized services.
