Job Title: Quality Control Technician (Solids Lab) - Night Shift

Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Training: First two weeks on a 12-hour day shift schedule

Position Overview

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking Quality Control Technicians to support laboratory operations within a solids manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for conducting quality testing, documenting results, and ensuring products meet established specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing and inspections on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Record and maintain accurate quality data and laboratory documentation.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns or out-of-specification results.
• Follow established laboratory procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Support investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements

• Associate degree in a scientific, technical, or related field with prior quality experience , OR
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Quality Assurance, Food Science, or another related scientific discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, or laboratory environments.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and work independently.
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience.

Schedule Information

• Regular schedule is a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM .
• Training will be conducted on a 12-hour day shift schedule for approximately two weeks before transitioning to nights.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
