The Finance Operations (FinOps) team provides and enhances core business services that are the backbone for Stripe. FinOps uses data and operational excellence to deliver technology solutions, payroll services, operational excellence, and monetization services to Stripe.

What You'll Do

We're seeking a Monetization Services Analyst to join our growing team. You'll focus on enhancing the user experience by developing efficient and timely billing mechanisms for custom contracted accounts. You'll also work on improving the design and management of Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows by collaborating with several cross-functional partners including Accounting, Finance, Tax, Seller Systems, and Engineering.

Work comfortably with legal contracts and demonstrate a strong attention to detail

Develop and manage efficient billing and collection processes for complex user agreements and new business operations

Create scalable and auditable Accounts Receivable (AR) processes for both new and existing users

Collaborate with various internal teams such as Commerce Systems, Global Deal Management, Legal, Sales Ops, Internal Audit, Go-To-Market, Engineering, and Accounting teams to implement innovative commercial structures and adapt to changing business needs

Partner with account managers to resolve user inquiries related to onboarding, implementation, billing, and collections

Act as a customer advocate by providing feedback and insights to internal teamsincluding Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Legalon ways to improve and innovate the Stripe user experience

Help identify, build, and implement ongoing process improvements to enhance overall operations

Who You Are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

5+ years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in customer success, consulting, financial services, account management, or sales, with a focus on technical products

A proven track record of leading technical discussions and persuading others to take action based on the value of proposed solutions

A detail-oriented mindset while being able to see the broader impact of aggregated transactions

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate data and collaborate with others to find answers

A background in operational excellence, including strong organizational and time management skills

Strong ability to analyze processes (and associated data) to understand impact on customers and financial outcomes

Proficient in SQL, with professional experience in GSuite and GSheets, especially handling large datasets

Experience or knowledge of the payments industry

Demonstrated experience in project management and consulting, with an ability to collaborate effectively across teams

A genuine passion for learning and solving problems through infrastructure and automation

A proactive mindset with a willingness to challenge assumptions and think creatively

Pay and Benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $107,800 - $161,600. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
