This position provides an excellent opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a fast-paced healthcare environment, gain exposure to a variety of surgical procedures, and learn from a highly skilled surgical team dedicated to exceptional patient care. What You'll Do: Assist with preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures. Help gather, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Observe and participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of qualified staff. Support sterile technique and infection prevention practices. Assist with patient positioning and operating room setup. Learn proper instrument handling, surgical workflows, and operating room protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe surgical environment. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and fellow team members to support outstanding patient care. Qualification: Education- High School Diploma or GED required. Currently enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technology program required. Experience- Previous healthcare experience is helpful but not required. Certifications- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
