About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales Operations to lead the operational engine behind the commercial organization. This executive will be responsible for the end-to-end infrastructure that supports client relationships, from onboarding to revenue generation. The role involves consolidating and overseeing five key functions: client implementation, customer reporting, Salesforce administration and pipeline governance, commercial process improvement, and forecasting and reporting. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, capable of eliminating gaps between sales and operations, and creating a single source of truth for commercial data. They must be adept at both operational and analytical tasks, with a strong background in sales operations, revenue operations, or commercial strategy. Candidates for the Vice President of Sales Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced degrees. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a related role is required, along with a proven track record of leading and developing teams. The role demands a leader who is credible with sales, clients, and executive leadership, and who can drive continuous improvement in commercial processes. Essential skills include strong analytical capabilities, experience in Salesforce as a business system, and a background in B2B services, particularly in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in process improvement methodologies and a deep understanding of commercial dynamics in the healthcare or insurance sectors.
