U.S. Rail & Logistics (USRL) is one of the nation's fastest-growing rail transloading and logistics companies, operating a network of strategically located rail-served terminals across the United States. We provide rail-to-truck, truck-to-rail, warehousing, storage, trucking, and industrial logistics solutions for customers in the energy, chemical, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and industrial sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead USRL's commercial growth strategy and help build the next generation of our national logistics platform.

About the Role

This is an executive leadership position responsible for driving profitable revenue growth across USRL's terminal network. You'll develop strategic customer relationships, expand existing accounts, identify new market opportunities, and partner with operations and finance to ensure new business delivers long-term EBITDA growth.

This is a builder's role for someone who understands rail logistics, transloading, trucking, and industrial supply chains-and enjoys winning major customers while building a high-performing commercial organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead USRL's national sales and business development strategy.

• Develop new strategic customers across rail, transloading, trucking, warehousing, and logistics services.

• Expand relationships with existing customers through new commodities, terminals, and transportation solutions.

• Partner with executive leadership on new terminal developments, acquisitions, and commercial expansion opportunities.

• Build and manage a disciplined sales pipeline, forecasting process, and CRM.

• Negotiate multi-year customer agreements and pricing strategies focused on profitable growth.

• Collaborate with terminal operations to successfully onboard and grow new business.

• Report commercial performance, pipeline, and EBITDA growth opportunities to the CEO and Board of Directors.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of executive sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.

• Proven success growing revenue and EBITDA in transportation, logistics, rail, transloading, trucking, or industrial services.

• Experience working with Class I railroads, short line railroads, transload facilities, or industrial logistics customers is highly preferred.

• Strong executive presence with experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.

• Financial acumen and the ability to evaluate customer profitability and return on investment.
