Seasonal Guest Experience Dining Host Associate

Job Summary This seasonal position supports our Christmas at the Library program. The role assists guests while celebrating the Savior’s birth with our dining services. Responsibilities include serving a traditional buffet‑style Christmas Dinner, seating guests, sanitizing dining areas, replenishing buffet items, and other tasks. The 3‑week schedule involves evenings and weekends. Responsibilities Assist with preparing rooms for dining by setting out placemats, decorations, condiments, napkins, service plates, and utensils. Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, refilling pitchers, and attending to patron spills or special needs promptly. Perform basic cleaning tasks during and after meals as directed by Food Services Leads. Ensure that the Dairy Bar is stocked with product and food to serve guests effectively. Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience. Assist with food preparation as directed by Kitchen Manager. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and consistently witnesses for Him. Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer and participates in daily staff devotions. Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations. Effectively represents Jesus Christ in personal and professional spheres. Basic customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a high‑paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Displays excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Job Specifications Physical and Mental Demands Lift up to 20 pounds. Stand for long periods. Flexibility to perform multiple duties simultaneously. Maintain a clean, neat appearance in accordance with expected dress code. Adapt to changing job parameters or directions. Working Conditions Work closely with the general public and guests of the Christmas at the Library program. Expect multiple interruptions at any given time. Work in hot or cold environments. Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Hours vary based on scheduled guests per dinner.
