Senior Named Account Executive, SoCal

Available Location: Candidates must be currently located and actively working in Southern California area What you'll do Cloudflare is looking for highly motivated Named Account Executives to manage 20‑30 enterprise accounts with $1B–$25B annual revenue. The role involves partnering with C‑level clients and senior technical decision makers to drive new business and expand Cloudflare’s market share within existing customers. Key responsibilities: Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned Enterprise level clients. Close new and expansion business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, meeting or exceeding assigned quota. Develop C‑level relationships within accounts to achieve strategic alignment with customers’ transformative objectives. Build and maintain a pipeline through high levels of outreach, understanding customer goals, and identifying where Cloudflare adds value. Maintain accurate forecasts and report to the sales leader on the status of new and expansion opportunities for weekly sales meetings. Lead the execution of a sales plan, coordinating internal stakeholders to close deals. Organize and deliver executive‑level presentations, proposals, and commercial terms with customers. Leverage the Executive Briefing Center to secure sponsorship from Cloudflare Executives. Build relationships with channel partners to create joint value propositions. Participate in team meetings and provide GTM guidance to partner with accounts more effectively. Provide Customers with a Premium Business Experience – Deliver empathy, proactiveness, and urgent value creation. Be Brilliant in the Basics – Master forecasting, SFDC disciplines, pipeline management, negotiation, and deep Cloudflare knowledge. Make Bold Decisions – Make locally informed strategic decisions for the largest accounts. Teamwork – Actively support teammates, share knowledge, and extend your network. Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience 6+ years of experience in Cloud Networking and Security Technology. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quota. Expertise in discovery, position, compete, negotiate, close, and expand sales. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams over long‑term account horizons. Strong closing skills and ability to build meaningful relationships quickly. Integrity, honesty, and a positive attitude in all situations. Assertive execution and planning, with discipline to work toward a plan. A passion for the sales profession. Compensation The estimated annual salary for CA‑based hires is $269,000–$360,000, including on‑target incentive compensation. This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan. Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
