Accounts Payable SpecialistThe Accounts Payable Specialist is a key member of the accounting team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payment disbursements, and account reconciliations. This role plays a vital part in maintaining positive vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies, and supporting the broader finance and operations teams.Essential Functions:Process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timelinessReview imported invoice batches for accuracy and completenessAssist with preparation and processing of weekly vendor payment runsPrepare checks and related documentation for mailing distribution as requestedSupport month-end and year-end close processesMaintain accurate vendor records and documentationOnboard new vendors, including W-9 collection and ACH setup/verificationEnsure adherence to internal controls and company policiesAssist with the preparation and filing of 1099 forms for independent contractorsQualifications:Minimum 3 years of progressive accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment requiredPrior experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit retail industry is preferredExperience reconciling vendor statements and researching discrepancies preferredDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredProficiency with ERP/accounting systems (Compeat Advantage, R365, etc) preferredAccounts Payable Certification preferredWhat we bring to the table:Annual salary of $58,135+ based on experience and educationEligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceCompany paid Life and Disability insurance401k with 4% company matchGenerous Employee DiscountStarting 23 days of Paid Time Off7 Paid Holidays OffHuse Culinary Dining Card that may be used at any Huse Culinary locationEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
