Psychiatric Nurse - 13-Week Contract

Location: Rochester, NH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at a behavioral health unit. The ideal candidate will have a background in psychiatric and geriatric nursing, demonstrating both experience and compassion in patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to psychiatric patients.
• Monitor patient condition and provide timely interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including social workers and recreational therapists.
• Assist in discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current BLS certification required.
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working with geriatric patients preferred.
