Tracking Daily Patient Census
Active Unit Patient Chart Monitoring
New Patient Admission Chart/Paperwork
Send Closed Records to Iron Mountain (storage)
Fill Legal Requests, Medical Examiner Requests, Social Service Requests, Disability Determination
Filing and maintaining Patient Forms
Take photos and create Patient ID Bands
Request Supplies for Office
Required Experience
1–2 years in health information management or medical records. Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
Experience with EHR systems for admissions/discharges.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Full Time contract position lasting approximately 18 months plus.
Monday - Friday 35 hour work week 8:00am-3:30pm
