Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a variety of family law cases from start to finish. This includes:

1. Representing clients in divorce, dissolution, custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic relations cases.
2. Drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
3. Conducting legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
4. Preparing for and representing clients at court hearings, depositions, and trials.
5. Managing discovery processes to gather evidence and information relevant to the case.
6. Negotiating settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
7. Providing clients with regular updates on case progress and strategy.
8. Maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Family Law Attorney or related role.
4. Proven track record in handling divorce, dissolution, custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic relations cases.
5. Excellent litigation skills, with experience in court hearings, depositions, discovery, and trial.
6. Proficiency in drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
7. Strong legal research and writing skills.
8. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain strong client relationships.
10. High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
