Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Take your expertise as a Paraprofessional to an engaging educational environment supporting K-5 students in life skill-based programs. This contract role spans from August 2026 through June 2027, offering steady, meaningful work over the academic year. You'll serve as an integral support within dedicated classrooms, helping children achieve personal and academic success.
What You'll Bring:
- Valid Educational Technician II or III certificate (required)
- Experience or strong interest in supporting elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with life skills curriculum or desire to learn
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assist with classroom activities and adapt to individual student needs
Your Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or in small groups, supporting K-5 students’ life skills development
- Collaborate closely with lead teachers to implement tailored learning strategies
- Assist with daily routines, classroom management, and the execution of individualized plans
- Encourage a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere for all learners
- Track and document student progress under the guidance of teaching staff
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development activities
