Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring active IL and IA RN licensure and at least 2 years of Med Surg experience.

Details

• Med Surg/Med Surg-Telemetry unit as part of a Clinical Resource Team
• 1:5-6 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM-7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May float across campuses in Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, and Muscatine, and to the Stepdown unit as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
• IA RN license also required, or proof of application for IA single-state or compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience required
• Stepdown/Cardiac experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Supervisory reference required, dated within 2 years of employment/contract
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required

Additional Information

• Provide professional clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Contribute to patient care management across multiple campuses as needed
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
• Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
